To help students develop a sense of responsibility for the society we at SSM encourage them to get involved in various community services. It increases the level of confidence and also teaches them how to co-operate and work with people in different conditions.Our students always lead from the front in moments of social crisis. At the time of outbreak of malaria and Dengue in the city, SSM students joined hands with other Samaritans in helping the people of the locality. They regularly campaign for a greener environment asking the public not to use plastic carry bags and other materials which may prove hazardous for the environment. Our students, under the aegis of Students Union, organized many fund-raising campaigns in the past to help flood victims, earth quake victims and also to facilitate medical arrangements for a few poor students.
